Join the Cities Donor Fund as they create a media technology-focused Innovation District in the historic heart of Hollywood.
Intended as a platform for broadening economic opportunities in the media industries across demographics, the Hollywood Innovation District is being developed in conjunction with The Hollywood Partnership, the major local property owner alliance (BID) and will focus on the most important civic, cultural and business areas of the Hollywood community.

THE CITIES DONOR FUND
The Hollywood Innovation District will build on an established unified platform of property owners to allow diverse stakeholders to work together to quickly scale sustainable and economically viable use case applications of IoT technologies to help solve persistent urban challenges. Opportunities for job training in growing fields like Augmented Reality and Data Analytics will build upon the development of new high-speed data infrastructure that will connect the media production facilities and performance venues throughout the Hollywood Innovation District.
New technologies offer an opportunity for access to Hollywood media careers in ways never before possible. With new learning and training opportunities funded in part by the Public Realm Trust, a new generation of stories and storytellers can be drawn from places that have long remained on the outside of the Hollywood story.
